Eric Ries joined Toshiba Corp. in June 2013 as the General Manager of Corporate Development and Strategy for the Semiconductor & Storage Products Company in Tokyo. He returned to the United States in 2016 as the Sr. Vice President for Memory and Storage Strategy for Toshiba Memory America (now KIOXIA). The Memory and Storage Strategy group, among other things, is exploring methods and technologies to better integrate memory with storage and storage with software aiming to provide a more compelling and fluid way to manage data in world where systems are now scaled and integrated in an unprecedented manner.
